Default Power Steering Cooler

I have a 2008 crew cab and the power steering makes noise and looses the power steering when it gets hot. Would replaceing the cooler tube with a real cooler help? My last F 150 had a real cooler and I did not have this problem.

I have looked at coolers to install but hate to waste the time and money if it won't help.

If the oil is getting that hot to foam and cause bubbles then why not. Use the search button to see if others are having the same issue. Perhaps the existing cooler is fine and you problem is elsewhere,
