New to the forum.

We have a 2004 2 WD that is having problems with the steering. The fluid is fine and we have had the power steering pump replaced and tried a different set of tires on the front. The steering feels very stiff and is difficult to turn.

Hope someone has some ideas.

my buddy had the same problem on his 04. the pump was bad on his and under warranty they replaced it. Do you have larger than stock tires? has it been in any accidents? When did it start? need more info to help diagnose

 

Agreed need more input. Other posibilities can be binding in the ball joints or problems in the steering gear itself. Gut feeling, you put on a defective pump, change it out again, should be under warranty.
