It works intermintently and is slow at first but slides normal after a few slides....is there any maintenance I need to do on it??? Does it need replaced??? Sometimes it won't open at all??? Help!

 

There is a wire harness behind the back seat and to get to it you have to take the back seat off the wall. If the window has been left open often it may have gotten wet, dirty, etc and might need some cleaning. Check the track the window slides in; once a month when my truck gets waxed, I grease up the moonroof tracks. You could also pull off the overhead piece where the button is and check it out, might have a lose connection...just a few thoughts.
