Default Power issues

I have been working on replacing my turn signal multi function switch behind the steering wheel. I have the air bag our, steering wheel off. After I removed the air bag I hooked the battery back up to run the a/c. I thought I had run it out of fuel, forgot it was about empty...it sputtered and died. Just went out a few days later and wanted to put the windows down- not a good time to come to o town, it's hot! So , unlock with phob, put the key in and turn it on- windows are not getting power...dash or ignition. Do have lights high and low beam, interior overhead lights...the combo switch has 3 plugs and that's it, simple...ideas?

52 Packard or 79 Pinto
No matter
Check the battery connections
Check the ignition switch (interrogate)
Good luck
