Here is my 2005 XL, Last week I installed new LED tail lights, LED 3rd brake light and new headlights all with a light 'smoked' look. Also put on the little side steps.

I want to do something with the wheels, I did have the bumpers dipped black and I was looking at black wheels for the truck, I dipped one of the wheels to get a basic idea of how it would look and I'm not sure if I like it.

I don't really like chrome, I'm thinking better looking OEM wheels off a newer FX4 or something would look good? Being a standard cab I'd like to find a way to make the truck look less 'stumpy', I wanted a Scab or even a Screw but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one, so I'm stuck with it.

I don't want to get too far away from stock either, the truck is used and has some dings, so I just wanted a more polished stock look I guess. Let me know your thoughts...
I'd definitely just paint the grill surround and bumper pad white to make it more like an XLT. Those parts being black plastic are exclusive to XLs and are the only things throwing off the looks in my opinion. Even using white Plastidip on them as a temporary thing would be good. Other than that, a nice set of OEM or aftermarket wheels would be nice and you'd have a good looking truck.

My first vehicle/truck. Loving this baby.
Only need to fix the 4x4 grinding crap, other than that it runs perfect.

LOVE IT.
