Default post diamondmod shifting problems

I have a 05 Boss 5.4 with an Edge Evo programmer set at 3-extreme. I just saw the thread for the diamond mod tps issue and I did that pedal reset and cleaned the throttle body as well. The Edge does show I am getting 100% WOT so I don't need to move my pedal.
My issue is after I have done everything, I seem have a shift lag at about 2800 and then at 3800. The response seems fine but it bogs at the shift and then screams off again.
Could I have done something wrong.. maybe a different setting in the Edge.
I am getting this on HEAVY accel. Haven't been able to try some normal driving ( i am stuck at the house for the time-being)
I dont think this was going on at all before. I haven't had the truck that long and haven't really tried to open it up

Gimme some thoughts

Hi.

That makes no sense - WOT shift points are going to be around 5,000 rpm for the 1>2 and 2>3 shifts. If yers is shifting that early WFO, you've got either a misconfigured tune, or yer misfiring.

You need to pull any stored/pending codes (yer Edge can't get to all of them).

Post yer Edge custom settings for the tuning yer seeing this on. Are the TS & GR settings correct? Confirm. IS yer rpm limit at least 400-600 rpm above yer highest WOT shiftpoint setting?

The Big One - does it do it with the Stock tune?

Lastly - maintenance history? Plugs, front O2's, fuel filter, MAF & TB cleaning, modes, etc, etc ...

need more info...

(Sorry - I seem to be in the minority here as I not put much stock in that so-called 'mod'. I confirmed it for myself long ago with my own testing - regardless of where I positioned the pedal the ETC software soon found the 0-100% setpoints - just as the system hardware & software was designed to do. It's the same programming ethos and heuristics that allows the PCM to account for wear and aging for ALL the vehicle's sensors.)

good luck
