Default Post Cam Phaser Lockout Things

I have a 2006 5.4L SCREW 4x4 Lariat:
I had the cam phasers locked out using the Livernois system last month. While they were in there I had them replace the SCTs, chains, gears, guides, tensioners and oil pump with h/o oil pump, cops and plugs. While all the mechanics guestimated the engine had less than 70K on it based on how "great it looked on the inside" (it has actually has 155K), I got the truck back and while it runs better, it seems like it's starting out in 2nd gear, just little torque at take off like it once had? Great power after it gains speed. I have noticed a high end RPM (4K+) slapping knock (for lack of better terms) that goes away when I let off the accelerator? No smells in the cab, not smoking...just seems odd to me. Any thoughts?

Default Advice is to change out rollers and lashs while in there

They are high wear items . Mine threw one number 8 intake roller to the side after it started its bad ticking . Luckily it missed cam . A lot of ticking and noise comes from those items and it is so much labor to go in there . A set of rollers and lashs are around $265 on ebay select . New rollers have oil hole more pointed at roller . Lashs were redesigned also.
If you locked out phasers no need for new vcts , oil from vcts is not going to move phasers .
I hope you cleaned out oil pan and oil pu screen as that stuff will slow oil flow to a crawl . Engine is very oil hungry.Shredded plastic is hard to get out of oil pu . I would have used old style ratcheting steel tensioners that keeps pressure on even if oil pressure low and no gaskets to blow out .
I am not a fan of $ 700 lockouts .Over priced and degrade engine ,good money to do proper timing job . Parts to do full job runs around $1400 includes oem phasers and lash/rollers .Change oil often no more than 5k or 4 months .I believe in marvel mystery oil to slow clean engine oil galleries and restrictors .
