Default Possibly a steering issue?

Hey guys,

I have a 2008 F150 FX4, with 72k miles, has been in 1 accident with significant right front-end damage(3 years ago). Few months ago I noticed when going over 60 MPH, and making a slight left turn(only left turns) my steering wheel and my truck would shake pretty rapidly. Not extremely violently, but definitely noticeable. Took the truck to ford for an oil change and had them do an alignment, rotation and balancing. Seems to have taken away the issue a bit, but it is still there. Now, I notice when my wheels are turned and I hit any size bump/crack in the road, I hear a metal on metal noise. Doesn't matter what speed I'm going, however, it's most noticeable at low speeds since there isn't much noise to drown it out. Also notice my steering wheel shakes a bit more when going over bumps than it used to.

When the problem first occurred, I thought it could be my sway bars since the bushings were rotted away. I replaced them, and it didn't help much.

Anyone have any idea what this problem could be? Any way to do a manual inspection to eliminate any possible issues?

Any help is appreciate it. Cheers.

Sounds to me like you may have a failing wheel bearing. Any aftermarket add ons like a lift or leveling blocks?

Yes! I have a 2.5 inch Hell Bent Steel leveling kit, installed a little less than 3 yrs ago.
