Possible trade
I may be trading my 03 f250 with a 2 valve 5.4. my second 2v and I love them but, I might be trading it for a 05 f150. I need a non lifted truck due to a recent back injury. the 05 is a really nice truck it just had all plugs and coils changed, but it has 200 k on it with a tic. Sounds like cam phasers to me. I know the 3valve 5.4s have oiling issues due to the tensioners. I actually work as a Chrysler tech with ford techs they told me to stay away. the 3 valves are garbage, but I really like it and they really want my truck so I was hoping to shed some light on it. Are they that bad? I know a repair would be necissary ( cam phasers, tensioners , and timing chains) that's no big deal. I just worry that it might already have low oil pressure and require more work. What could I look for to tell if its good or bad? As many of these engines that are out there they all can't be bad. I'm just scared to dump $1500 in a truck I just got to find out I need to put an engine in. Here's pics of my 250 and their 150

Ford, much?
A lot of people out there will be more than willing to give you their stock suspension on their F250 for your lifted and be nice enough to give you a wad of cash to boot. 
Probably even do the work themselves over a case of beer. That would be the best option.

If you want a f150, get it. A lot of people on here with well over 200k.
