Default po345 and p0349 after new engine

Hi i have a 2005 ford f150 with the 5.4 3 valve. i have replaced the engine and while doing that i replaced all the coils all the injectors new crank sensor new cam sensors also replaced the starter the altenator and a new battery. i am having an issue where i am getting a p0345 and p0349 i am having no running issues though. (one thing i have noticed is the powersteering seems very weak now though). i unfortunately don't have a fancy scan tool to look at modules just a basic bluepoint obd2 scanner. that does read some live data but not sure what i should be looking at i can tell the engine is noit running lean or rich though as my short term and long term are staying pretty steady. im am thinking my next step is to get a engine wiring harness but before i do this are there any other things i should check.

P0345 and P0349 are set during cranking before engine start. The computer looks for base position of the cam phasers on start which should be locked in 0 degrees. If they are anything but 0, the code will be set. When the engine is turned off, the cam phasers should be at 0 with the lock pinned position. @F150Torqued wrote a very good description of these codes. do a search on these forums.

You say a "new" engine? Was it a new short block? I'm guessing it is a reman engine. If so, you need to be on the phone with the people who remanufactured it. This is not good.
