Plugs Have Been Changed!!
Finally at 85k I had my plugs changed, and the difference is night and day. I have owned the truck for a little over 2.5 years, and have never had the confidence to get on the throttle, but now I can get on it and know that I am going to have to power!
Stupid comment... I too changed mine and there is a day and night difference. The old plugs tips were wore so bad they looked almost flat! Power increase was very noticeable.
If there were no signs of damage, and everything was fine with them, putting new ones in wouldn't of made a difference at all.

I don't know how people can come up with the logic that changing their plugs does not do anything unless one wasn't working, especially with all the testimonies.
I too notice performance gains, smoother idles, better fuel mileage after changing my plugs which is why I like to do it often and not wait for something to go wrong first.
But for those of you that are "thrifty" and can squeaze 10x the life out of a plug and notice nothing when you finally do change them, if you ever do, congats!

I do believe in changing them when their time is due, I just haven't gotten around to doing them just yet, as pretty much everyone says they are a PITA.
But if anyone can prove that changing the plugs; when the old ones are perfectly fine, and actually do gain power... with a dyno sheet. I would love to see it while using the same plugs, just new ones.

There is no possible way that you can actually think a spark plug with 100,000 miles of use and wear can generate the exact same specs as a brand new one with 0 miles of use on it. Nevermind....your AVATAR says it all......lmao

I think I will be changing mine out in February... I don't want to do it myself but i'd rather save the 100+ bucks for something else.... There is a big difference between old plugs and the new...

Spark plugs are all about tolerances, that's why you gap plugs (or they come pre-gapped). A spark plug with 100k will not have the same tolerances as a brand new spark plug, but will still function.
Your logic is like saying a balljoint is fine until it breaks in half.
