Question Plug And Play?

Well i just bought an HID kit for my foglights and my headlights....now they say plug and play...and all you have to do is just plug everything in w/o splicing wired and such...is this all true? or is there splicing and other cutting involved?

If they are plug and play lights, all you should have to do is plug them into the stock wiring, but you will still have to mount the ballast somewhere, but that should be fairly easy.

Mine said plug and play but the plug did not fit
So I sliced the wires and connected (more secure now)
I installed the balasts behind the frame, in front of the battery.
The only problem is that I cannot tell the difference between the high and the low. I even changed the cables, put high with low, low with high, no difference. Left it as they insructed, correct way, still no difference.
When I look at the bulb, in high, I can see top and bottom light up, on low beam, on the lower portion of the bulb. I know they work because I can tell when I look at the bulbs.
