I have a Myers on my 91 f150 (302, Aod). The 2 inch lift coil springs are starting to sag but I have a set of air bags I am looking to put in there. I have used this for a few years doing residential driveways. I run low lock and just go easy.
I realize I am pushing the truck but that is what I have. I even still have the auto hubs which seem to work just fine for me. I also have a big f350 dump truck with a 9 foot western. I knew a guy who had a 98 f350 and the front axle had to be redone from the abuse of the plow.
I probably wouldn't put a heavy plow on a newer truck. I like the 91's push rod engine and the easy to mess with coil springs. I have a trans cooler and really do take it easy when plowing with the 150.
Just to humour me somebody tell me why you refer to these trucks as " screws".
