Please tell me someone figured out the 4 high dash light problem

Im leaning more and more towards you have a bad solenoid.

I just installed a new solenoid and same thing, 4low stays lit but 4hi blinks sometimes but I know it works in both because I just engaged 4hi & 4low. Well at least I know it works I guess

Will the parts store take the new solenoid back? They're usually pretty good about that kind of thing. Check the signal wires running to and from the solenoid maybe?
