I have an idea of what this wire is but i just want to make sure before i go spending money on something that wont work

This is the best picture i could get. This is inside my drivers door towards the top and near the lock

Looks like the connector for the key pad to me...Do you have a blinking security light on the dash?

 

Yeah, i have the blinking light in the dash and a card in my owners manual with a code for a keypad

Just wanted to be sure before i go buy a new door handle with the key pad
