Hi Guys (Me Again)
2004 F150 Lariat 5.4L

So i was replacing an O2 Sensor and i noticed this part just hanging.
I see where it is supposed to go but i don't know what it is or does.

PS. I simply attached it with a cable tie for now...

That would be your shift cable.

I don't know if you can replace the bushing on the end like you can with some of those cables, but maybe worth a look.

I'd guess yours needs the clear bushing...
