Hey guys so this morning I got into my truck and attempted to get out of a bunch of ice. The truck was already in 4 wheel due to the snow storm the night before. I had to switch the truck from drive to reverse a few times to get out and then all of a sudden I had no reverse.
I have searched the forum and couldn't really find anything.
I have an 05 F150 5.4L XLT with 4x4 and 135k Miles on the truck and had the trans rebuilt at about 60k miles / 6 years ago when the first gear went.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Also my final question is if I find another trans what will fit?

I am thinking that I will use monster transmission if I lose my 05 trans .

 

Yeah I'm on the website now and they have a good price of only $1500 plus shipping the core back to them. But I'm not sure if it definitely is the trans..?
No idea what to do
