Default Please help

I have a 2005 Ford F150 Lariat extended cab with the 5.4 Triton 3V last week I replaced both VCTS and truck ran fine today truck started idling rough and the check engine light started flashing i turned the truck off waited about 30 mins and started the truck the check engine light is now steady. I live in a rural area and dont have access to a code reader any ideas would be appreciated

Blinking light indicates a misfire. You’ll need a scanner/code reader to read the code to tell you which cylinder or cylinders are misfiring.

We’re not going to be able to help much without codes... We can give you shotgun blast advice by saying to change all the spark plugs, coils, and boots. That’s about a $200 guess and hoping your issue is misfire related and not something else.

I would say a bad cop, but it’s hard to say like others have said without reading the codes and knowing of it’s one cylinder or multiple misfiring cylinders.
