Default Place For A Knife

Just got a new fixed blade and I'm trying to figure out where I can keep it in my truck. Like next to the seat or underside of the dash. Any ideas or examples?

LOL, seriously ?

You can keep your pocket knife anywhere your heart desires - it's your truck. You have storage options all over it..

Or is this one of those hypothetical threads where you are envisioning being attacked by a mob of coloreds and need an easily accessible location in the event you need to cut someone?
The mention of "underside of the dash" sounds like you're looking for that 14 year old hole in the wall behind the picture option. I had a friend like that when I was younger. Like him, you may have watched "Commando" too many times.

On that note, I'd be happy to help you with your writing.

In all seriousness though, how can someone make a thread like this and not expect some playful/sarcastic responses? It's a ridiculous thread so I gave a ridiculous response. Welcome to the internet. I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings.. but come on.. "where can i stash my new knife in my truck" ? Don't you have to be 16-17 to drive in most states ?

Ha that was pretty good. But no. I was just seeing if anyone has done anything creative. But your more than welcome to be an ******* and give no advice or helpful input.

I know people with a CCL that keep a Glock strapped under the dash by the steering wheel adjustment. A place to get to it quickly with out digging through a glove box or center console if I ever had to. Rather safe than sorry.

I keep my buck fixed blade in a sheath layed in the pocket of the door, I always carry a couple of my spyderco's in my pockets. One on each side, and my Kahr or Glock in a holster tucked between the driver seat and center console cushion. Lots of places to keep knifes, etc. Not to hijack your thread ! but have you considered getting your concealed carry ? Don't bring a knife to a gun fight my friend ! Lots of bad people in this world, and especially driving a nice truck such as yours, some thug with a gun might not hesitate to come carjack you. Just my 2 cents...

Now this is what I'm talking about! Thanks for the replies. Yes I have considered it. I've taken the class and will turn in the paperwork in a few months. I also use a knife a lot for work and just need to get to it quickly and easily.

I was thinking 3m sticky tape. My truck has the center console shifter and it would fit perfectly right on the side of it.
