Is deisling the only noise relating to cam phasers. And or a tick also relateing to phaser.. my truck has no deisling. Noise just a tick at idle. Thankx

 

I think it's either or... I have the diesel idling... But it only happens if I go into reverse... I'm thinking... It had the issue before I purchased it and they used a heavier oil to mitigate it... Soon as I changed the oil and put 5W20 I had the issue but it rarely occurs.... Some say the ticking noise are the injectors and that's normal... My injectors don't tick....
