Default Pesky P0106 code and EGR question

I have a rough idle on a 2007 4.6 with p106 code and a MAF code. EGR valve is new (Rock Auto). New MAF is a Hitachi.
Questions:
1. Do both vacuum connections on the EGR get the same vacuum connection? My lines broke and, from what I could see, they both go to the rear of the intake manifold. Is this correct? I see some vacuum lines that head over to the passenger side and then disappear south somewhere : )
2. If I connect both of these vacuum connections on the EGR, it say my exhaust flow is excessive and the engine runs worse.
3. Does the new MAF need a Ford dealer reset, or is this just nonsense?

Thank you in Advance!

You need to find a VECI for your truck showing the vacuum routing
The new MAF does not need to be set or programmed to your truck

Vacuum layout diagram is attached to underside of hood. I just looked at mine (2007 4.6) and it shows two vacuum lines attached to EGR and both appear to originate in the same place on the intake manifold downstrean of the throttle body. The diagram shows Man Vac for both. Seems odd that they both originate at same place but best I can tell they do.

I think my hood was adopted, since it has no vacuum diagram : )

Take a look at

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...rd-f150xl.html
It show the vacuum diagram that is attached to the hood. Not very informative but there it is.
