Yes and I have a 560 hp TT Porshe I think we are sick; and I like it. I think I will be adding the Roush SC to my mod list on my F150. I may need help for my mod disease but I don't want a cure. 90% sure humm....I have went fishing with a 10% chance of rain and got drowned. LOL, so what's your next mod?

How's that Xcal III holding up? I've been hearing there's a lot of issues with them.

MM,

I really respect that. In this world of excess & overindulgence (especially on this forum) it is sort of a breath of fresh air to see a member who has kept his performance mods stock, and doesn't seemed to be ashamed to say it. You are definately a man who walks to the beat of his own drummer.

Oh, and please tell the Mrs. that I say "hello" and send my regards.

Now as for me and my overindulging self, I have the 3" AF1 CAI, Roush Off-Road SI/DO exhaust (both on order arriving in the next week or two...currently have a K&N Series 63 CAI, and custom Exhaust), Pirelli tires, and American Racing 22" wheels (that considered performance, right?), got my XCAL3 in the mail a couple of weeks ago & stored in the box under my bed until Troyer sends me my custom tunes (no canned tunes for me...all or nothing baby! )

I think that is it for performance. After the new CAI and exhaust are installed & my tunes come in, I think that I may be pretty much done w/performance mods. I've put enough money into this to make it perform much better than stock in my opinion. I don't think that I'll ever go the Supercharger route (never say never though) and since so much of our power comes from the CPU in the newer models as oppossed to actual metal and mechanical hardware, I don't know if I'd actually spend the money for a REALLY nice set of long tube headers for the 'minimal' HP in return and for a little extra growl. Just don't know if it is worth it....

Morning Big Dawg,

Well I may as well tell you... I don't have the F-150 any longer.

We had an ice storm in Cape Breton and I seen The Mrs outside trying to scrap off the windshield. She wasn't getting anywhere fast.

After seeing her struggle, I went outside and finished off the job while she sat in the passenger seat.

So, on Monday, 4 Feb 08, I went back to the dealership and I swapped the F-150 back and got my old Freestyle.

I lost about $8K in the deal. Imagine that. I spent $8K to "rent" a truck for 3 months. She was a beauty too. But it isn't the first time that I had to give up something that I wanted. I had a Bronco II that I owned for about 3 months. I had to give that up too. But that was because of a divorce.

The Mrs knows that I will be back into an F-150 within a few years. That is unless we win the lotto and I will go back and insist on getting that truck back. Either that, or finding out who they sold it to and buy it off of them.

Mitch
