Performance fuel filter

The stock Motorcraft fuel filter can flow more than two 5.4L motors could drink at the same time. Now if you supercharge it, and install a fuel line pressure gauge while you're at it, and find that your pressure is dropping at the rail below specs for your dyno'd system, you might look at putting in a high volume / high flow rate FUEL PUMP. But unless your stock fuel filter is clogged with dirt it's almost free flowing as is.

Motorcraft FG-1083 is the fuel filter I use. I have twin 255lph pumps. No issues. Worked great with the stock fuel pump as well. The stock fuel lines and fuel rails will flow up to 700-750hp.

Change the fuel filter every 10-15k.
