Yeah it's ridiculous. Since this thread someone I know killed somebody in a high speed head on collision. I wonder if he has killed anyone yet?

 

As my father told me when I was young. I live by it now and tell people this on accident scenes. 55, stay alive. The faster you go, the less control you have. You're more likely to kill someone going fast, than slow. This is coming from a 19-year-old teenager.

 

Well I would never actually go 55, the normal speed limit is 65 which means people are going 80. 55 is just dangerous at that point.

 

I actually have an acute case of samahagarism, so I can't drive 55.
