performance mods? what are some good mods for the 2004 xlt f150 5.4 v8?
i was thinking supper charger, up graded 02 censer, new exhaust. what else is out there? or what would you do?

 

Supper chargers are supper expensive! Programer/tuners will give you a good power gain. There are cold air intakes and the exaust. I had a k and n cold air intake for about 2weeks and I didn't think it was worth the money so I sold it and got my money back. Exaust won't give you much power but are great for the sound. It all depends on your price range.

Elc. fans. underdrive pulleys, headers, custom tunes, high output coils, & as mention above, ext. CIA, cams, it goes on & on.
All this stuff adds up a little more power at a time.
BUT so does the $$$$$$$.
A supercharger would be a very good power addtion to any or all of the above.
Again lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$

 

Depends on what you call expensive and what you want out of your truck. Whipple kits can be had for a tick over $4k and if you can do the install then thats all the $$$ you will have in it and you're looking at 394rwhp on there tune. You can do all the other little mods mentioned and maybe get close to 275rwhp.
