O sell something on here to accept a payment on paypal do you have to give your bank account info?? I thought u did but im not sure thats the only reason i wont use paypal except to buy because i dont want my info out there like that i hope this is not sposed to be in the classifieds

 

I dont think you need it on there to accept money. When you accept money it kind of sits in its own account on your account. So then when you go to buy something or pay someone, Paypal will take off what you have in there from transfers and what people have paid you. Then whatever balance is left, you have to pay by credit card/direct transfer from account. As long as you have an account setup, you should be okay.

I may be wrong about this with having a direct bank account linked to your paypal account. I am not positive as I am fairly new to it (receiving money). I think you could just use a credit card number if you wanted and not your actual bank account number.

 

You don't HAVE to have it directly linked to your bank but on order to transfer money from what you get paid in PayPal to your bank you do have to have them linked. But to get paid, all you give the buyer is your PayPal email address, no financial info st all. I move a LOT of money through PayPal each month.

 

Yea looking it up i think your right that sucks i had my edge sold but the guy didnt want to do it through money order afraid i might screw him which i completely understand but yea ha preciate it sir....i think bank accounts only needed to recieve money to your bank account
