So I found out my 04 fx4 screw has the 3.55 limited slip 9.75" rear end. Not sure what all that means, I'm 35 and this is my first truck.

anyways, me and the girl are doign projects now and I'm gonna get 75 pavers and a sod cutter tomorrow. That should put me at about 2k pounds in the bed. I know this is about 300 over what the owners manual says but I'm only going about 10 miles and I figure take it easy, allow for extra stopping time, etc and it should be fine right? (the extra weight i mean)

Also found out that is my transmission. Anything I should now about it? And what does the "w/tss" mean? with what?

Dont worry too much about the load. Just take it very easy being that this is your first truck and all. Remember it will suck to stop with all the weight.

no problem with the weight as long as your tires are in good shape, stopping you will need alot more room, and make a dry run (empty) to find any big bumps or pot holes so you can avoid them or just go real slow over them so you don't bottom out the shocks

and try to get as much weight to the front of the box as possible, enjoy the truck
