Default ** Passenger Window Help **

I`ve got an`05 F150 Lariat 4 door and the front passenger window rolls down but does NOT roll up when using the controls from the passenger side.
It does roll up using the controls from the drivers side.
Has anyone had this happen? Has the switch on the passenger side failed?
Any help appreciated.
TIA!
Don

it could be contacts in the switch they get used so much and grime builds up on the contact plates and rocker that would be a place to start is to clean the contacts

Common problem if you take it to the shop they'll tell you its bad, and they are expensive, +1 for the previous post, to clean it
1 remove the plastic panel the switch is attached to, pops off with a screw driver
2 disconnect and remove the switch from the panel
3 pop the rocker off the top of the switch
4 remove the top half of the switch
5 remove the pivot arm
6 clean the carbon build up off the switch contact pads
7 reassemble

Just want to`follow-up`on this. Thanks again for the info. Yesterday I removed the switch. The contacts weren`t burnt, although one had turned in the housing. I repositioned it,thinking I`d found the problem. However even though iniatilly it probably was. The switch is now toast.
I`GOOGLED`the switch and found an OEM swtch for $62 and an aftermarket for $32. I also found a new one on eBay for $16 and change with free shipping.
I bought the one on eBay,figuring the`change out is pretty straight forward if it fails again.......
Sorry if I have offended any OEM purest out there,but budgets are what they are.....:>}
Thanks again!
