M looking for a part# or replacement for the message center LCD on my 04 F150, anyone got an idea bout where I can find one or some other ideas would help??

Why not look on e-bay and just buy a used speedo cluster? It has the message center already built into it.

About 125 bucks I don't have, now an LCD screen for about 30 to 40 I can do

That's going to be a VERY tough order to fill.

Generally, the whole cluster is sold as a whole. I can't imaging why anyone would part one out. I SERIOUSLY doubt that Ford would sell just the message center by itself.

I had my instrument cluster apart yesterday. I believe that the message center is soldered into the PC board. I don't think it's a part that's just "plug and play".

Why do you need a new message center? Did it quit working or did the bulb burn out?

The last person that owned the truck thought pushing on it would fix it and broke it(one black spot on the screen) I have something for trade I'll get into that forum and see what comes up. Thanks for the input I just don't have that kind of cash to throw around these days.
