You should always carefully trace the edges of you tape, where it meets the object you are painting, with an exacto knife or razor blade, regardless of what you paint with. Especially if you are painting something, with a slick glossy finish(talking bout the object being glossy not the paint).

Obviously if you tape over paint you don't want to run a knife over that.

Use a high gloss paint then clear coat it to make it shine, looks dull like that

plasti-dip worked for me - i also did the bars in the middle of the grill

They are painted and then a single layer of vinyl is applied to make the ford logo
