Default painting bumpersss!

i have a 2005 xl and the bumpers look bad because its the xl and its like faded black i want them either to match my red truck or just be black but all one color black, can anyone tell me the cheapest and easyiest way?

if you want to go black they make this stuff called flexible bumper coating and its black..I am in the process of doing it on all the plastic on my truck so far so good

Herculiner, a buddy did his bumpers and rockers, looks really good.

I did mine with Rustoleum bedliner spray. Had chrome bumpers, sanded them down to rough the surface up, primered and sprayed. Probably could have done without the primer, but did it anyway. Read on another forum of this stuff called bulldog adhesion promoter. Google it. I believe that will help paint stick to chrome.

I did, I don't think its necessary, but I didn't want to deal with taping everything off and I wanted to coat it better. I like projects and the bumpers were surprisingly easier to remove than I thought. Just hand tools and removed by myself. Had the lady help me line them up when putting them back on.

right but the one thing is on the XL is thats its bumper is plastic, i think, but what should i do with that?
