Default Painted Doorhandles/Top of mirror

Hi all, new to the site and have just been looking around for the first week or so. I know this topic has been posted numerous times before, but seems like no one really got the answer they were looking for. I have an Oxford White 2008 Lariat Supercrew and love everything about it. One of the only things I wouldn't mind doing to it would be adding the white doorhandles and mirror caps to white it out a little bit, although I still have a good amount of chrome on it.. My truck is ALL WHITE with all of the following chrome: 18" wheels, front valance, bumper, billet grille and, of course, the door handles(with black housing around it) and the top of my mirror. Ive seen 3-4 posts asking about where to order them or if you could order them from a dealership. Most people just suggest doing it yourself or getting a bodyshop to paint them, and I do not want to go that route. Any info would be helpful, I would love to do this to my truck.. Sorry if I missed a few posts about it, but looks like the last one was in 2008. Thanks fellas...

You can buy the handles from Ford already painted. The mirror caps have to be painted and the glass removed to install them. Or just have the body shop mask the mirror assembly and paint the top portion.

DIY much more fun! I read a post the other day about removing the door handles to paint them, I'll see if I can find it and post a link. Basically, the suggestion/direction was take the door handle off and do it that way as opposed to taping around it and painting it while installed. Good luck with it and post some pics!

Let me know what you find out on paint pricing. I have a 2004 and the door handles would look a lot better painted. I was thinking of doing this myself since my friend with a Dodge did it. But I am sure it's a little different.

No prob JamminJim, waiting on 2 shops to give me a quote. Think I'm gonna buy a new set of handles so they can paint those (just incase they mess up, paint doesn't match exactly, I change my mind, etc). Will let ya know.

I'm just going to buy the chrome covers for the handles and have a buddy of mine prep and spray them to match the body, peel and stick, done.
