A good reman motor will have all major design flaws address, and most come with a 100k warranty.

I'm not sure on that. But plan to sell the truck after 3 years. But I've heard that some people have redesigned the motor and that pushes more oil out. I'm not sure how it works. I'm sure the 5.4 3v was the worst motor ford had ever made.

I had no idea the engine had this many issues with it. I should have done my home work before my own purchase

I should of done the same. My truck was broken for a year and a few months after a month of having it. And I'm still paying on the truck. You're best bet is to buy a new motor not a used one. The new motor will last longer.
