Default Oxygen sensor eliminator

I am want to get rid of my back two cats and run a off road style exhaust. Can anyone tell me where I can find something to trick my computer into thinking my o2 sensors are still there? I have a 2004 XLT with a 5.4

I don't think you will be able to do that on a Fuel Injected engine.

if you get a custom tune with an xcal3 from say, Starkie@VMP Tuning, he can just turn them off in the programming.

Just keep in mind that cats will have to be re-installed if/when you sell the truck. It is illegal for you to trade in or sell the truck without them. Recently a person bought a truck in Texas from a dealer that did not have it's cats. The person failed the state inspection 8 months after it's purchase, sued the dealer and won. The truck was returned to the dealer, the dealer refunded the full purchase price and paid a hefty fine to the federal government.

So even if your state does not have inspections, the federal law can and will fine you or whomever ends up with the truck.

Keep the cats; install them when you sell.
