I want to add keyless entry to my 05 F150 with the keypad in the door handle. My F150 has power door locks, windows & mirrors. It also has the key fobs but the little loop of the key fob that goes on the key ring keeps breaking so I would like to not have to carry them anymore. Will the outside door handle from any model F150 fit as in regular cab, super cab, & crew cab all fit each other?

 

Yes. They are all the same. Including 09-14.

This afternoon I ordered the outside door handle for the keyless entry keypad from LMC Truck, & a new keyless entry keypad from Ford. I will update when the parts arrive.

 

UPDATE: I received the new door handle with the cutouts for the keyless entry keypad & the new keypad. I got the handle from LMC Truck & the keyless entry keypad from Varsity Ford in Michigan. The new handle is a very stout piece. It is part #- 49-7584 & is the textured black handle assembly for $23.89 w/tax & shipping, the keyless keypad is part #- 4L3Z-14A626-AAA & is $60.55 w/shipping. My local JY's want over $90.00 for a used black handle w/keypad that I would not even know if it worked & I was able to get new for just under $85.00. The keyless entry keypad from Ford fit the handle from LMC Truck perfectly.

If anyone is interested, I did the l/s door handle swap with the one with the keyless entry keypad, & what I had to do to make it work. The only thing I cannot get to work is the auto lock feature when you start the truck & start to pull away they used to lock, now they do not. I even tried to activate them by using the procedure in the owner's manual. Not a real big deal. Here is a link to my write-up.
