maybe not for power up but the wiring harness keeps them from flickering or going out while you are driving...I think thats the jist of it...it was an extra $15 harness but my buddy who slapped them into his f250 said to get it

yeah the ddm kit was cheaper but when you start adding up harness, price difference for the 55w and price for the h/l beam kit, they were about the same, maybe a little more... are the ones from jon_to 55w or 35?

 

They were just 35w. I've heard of issues with the 55w kit and didn't want to take the chance. It was $110 for a 6000k bi-xenon kit shipped to Alaska and comes with a 1 year warranty

 

I have a problem with my HID's my passenger side flickers after the bulbs warm up...any cure to this?

 

Check the ground and all connections to make sure they're good

 

Post some pics when you get them. I am about to order the same ones and the 35W fogs as well.
