Thanks! Supposedly the swap only works on the 06-08 trucks as they are different internally from the 04-05.

That is a pic of my shifter I really like it. Doesn't feel cheap at all. I don't know about all the internal stuff being different after 06 but it doesn't matter because the exterior is the same I have seen the Lincoln leather covers for sale as a separate piece.

Mine was done by a member on this board for 35 bucks I think I like the look of the stitching better than the oem. He may still make them , search for forum member tailrace
