I personally like my bull bar and plan to keep it for a long time. I debated removing it once and doing something like that then like a week or two later hit the bull bar which saved my front bumper from getting messed up. (I was going through a tiny ditch and decided to go faster to throw some mud and impress a girl...) I hit the ground, put a small dent in the bull bar, pushed the skid plate level with the bumper, and popped a bolt through the valence. Would've been much worse without the bull bar. So depends on if you want the low front end protection or not. Personally I like the bull bar better.

I agree with tareed94 as my bar has saved my bumper a couple times. I paid 350 to get my front bumper repainted and half that for the bull bar so it takes the beating when I go off road. Although you can fit more lights and retain your tow hooks with the light bar. I don't like losing my tow hooks as my 32" tires and stock height truck make it easy to get stuck offroading
