Default Operating temperatures

Hey guys quick question, what are the normal operating temperatures on our trucks, mines an 04 lariat with a 5.4 3v and has 195k. Coolant is running 190-198, oil is between 185-200, and transmission is between 175-195. The transmission used to run at 140ish. Do these temps seem normal. Also I'm reading it through an edge programmer and a snap on modis ultra.

Doesn't seem real terribly high, have you cleaned your radiator/condenser/cooler lately? A good soapy wash and/or pressure washing can make a big difference.

My 2004 4.6L water temp runs 195 =/- 3*.
The trans is usually 145 - 155. Never any higher.
If my trans temp begins to rise I would be looking into a filter and oil change.
I've got the replacement pan with an oil drain plug. Just need to get "aroundtuit" and drop the old pan.

Default Agree with the need for drain pan change out.

Slowly change out your transmission fluid 4-5 quarts at a time . Should run thru 20 quarts . Check your trans cooler if you have tow package . If you don't then add cooler . Especially if you tow .
Amazon drain pan type and mercon V prices not bad .

My transmission usually runs around 140 to 160. I have a trans cooler. My truck is also lifted with 35's. I was surprised at the low temps of mine, due to the tires.

Your coolant temp is on par with a 195 t-stat. My tranny temp sits at 150 on the open road. Warm weather towing, or in stop-n-go traffic, it will rise as high as 190.
