Default Opening window switch

So after reading countlesd threads on drive window issues, and lots of folks are saying to clean the contact points, but how do i gain accesd to them!?

Can i just remove the button? Or do i actually need to open the box connected to the buttons.

Im havin trouble opening the box, but i might be missing something. My warranty will cover it, but the appt is not till next week.

I just did Cleaned mine this weekend, your most of the way there, just pop off the switch covers, they just snap on, then remove the little clear weather propfing rubber. Then pry all 4 tabs on the sides, kinda tricky got to do all at the same time, I shoved a tooth pick under each one, when it comes apart the contacts are visible and can be cleaned.

Oh yea you don't have to remove the button for the widow lock, it's attached differently but won't get in the way.

There is a good write up somewhere I googled "f150 window switch fix" and was able to find it pretty easy. Good luck!
