Man I love the 2013 f150 fx4's but I absolutely love my truck more then enough to keep it and run it into the ground. I have about a year left on my payments and its gonna be a HUGE relief to not have a payment at all.

I like my "97 XLT SCab, but I'm getting close to a new F150. I'm at the point of trade soon or keep it til the doors rot off. Hoping to get an XLT SCab, SCrew with a 6.5" bed leaves only 3" parking room to spare in the workshop. The "97 was bought used with 72K, am at 174K now. It's paid for, and a new truck will be paid in full when I leave the lot.

I really liked my 05 SCREW Lariat, but the thing was rusting out, plugs needed change, converter was rattling, it was time for it to go (bought it with 114K, never will I do that again). So far I'm extremely happy with my 12 XLT, kind of miss a few options my lariat had though.

I was going thru this a couple weeks ago. I actually put a down payment on a 2010 fx4. Then they told me they were only going to give me $6,000 for mine. I felt insulted. To be honest, aside from how the 6 speed delivers the power it didn't drive any better than mine. I really stay on top of maintenance with mine tho. Plus it's been paid off for 3 yrs and I just got it the way I want it. I always trade in after 5 yrs, and this was my 5th new truck, so buying used was different. Honestly I'm so glad I kept my truck. Love my 05 with 120,000 mi. Didn't mean for so many pics, but it crashed when I uploaded.

The ***** dude, I would've bet my woman that the phasers or timing chain guides were gone and the noise would still be there, but nope engine is whisper quiet. All I hear now are the injectors, it's awesome. Thanks again man that's been drivin nuts for years.

Personally Id never buy a new truck. Buy one a few years old and somebody else take the depreciation hit. I bought mine 3 years old for $20k below the original sticker price.

I plan on keeping my truck for a long time after its paid for. Im sick of payments and wont be driving mine as much anymore now that my new job provides a company truck for me to take home.

I was looking or used.. Well 2011, as I wanted the new motors, but they were all more money then a new 2012 with all the rebates and incentives that ford is offering right now. 30-40K mile used truck or a new truck for cheaper, it was a new brainer to me.
