Default Oil Leak

Hello, I have a 2004 F-150 5.4 (not the Heritage model) and have an oil leak. I took a look under the engine and it looks like it's coming from either the oil filter or what I think is the oil pump. Does anyone know how intense of a job it would be to switch out the pump? I already replaced the filter hoping it was just faulty, but the leak is still going and I wanna get an idea before I get involved too deep. Thanks!

make sure its not double sealed. sometimes when you take an oil filter off, the seal on the original oil filter stays on the engine not on the filter, so when you put a new filter on it now is double sealed which will deff. cause an oil leak

Yeah, I did check the oil filter to make sure it was on tight. The last time I changed it (back in Jan.) i even hand tightened it a little more. I'll have to check on the double seal since I have read it on other blogs too. It's a weekend thing since I need my truck for transportation to and from work so unfortunately I won't be able to know until Saturday. Thanks and I'll keep you guys posted.

So I finally got around to working on that oil leak. Turns out the gasket that goes between the oil filter housing and the engine block (Ford Part #F65Z6840-A) was wearing out. A new gasket, some coolant, $30 bucks and an hour later it was all fixed! Thanks guys!
