Default Odometer repair

I have read a few write ups on how to repair the blinking odometer or just plain not working odometer display. I tried a couple times to fix it but I just felt like I was going to break something. I also contacted a few repair places in the Phoenix area and they wanted more than I was willing to pay. So I just lived with it but then I was able to find a person on Ebay that does the repairs for $65. I sent the cluster Monday morning and I had it back Friday afternoon. Total was $80, because I had to ship it to them, so not to bad of a price.

Here is a link to the listing...

Just wanted to throw the idea out there for others with the same problem.

The odometer is already blinking again so I am no longer recommending this repairer. It happen very quickly considering that I do not drive the truck much.

When I had the exact same problem I took my dash apart, took the 2 clips/wire harnesses off and applies dielectric grease then put the clips back and ever since (2 months ago) no problem
