Odometer not working

I has rained almost onece a week now for a month and my odometer quites working. When it dries out, about a week, it starts working again. anyone have this problem or solution.

No but that gives me an idea of how to keep miles "off" my truck lol

Check the connector for the speed sensor in the rear differental,water may be getting inside the connector,also check other connectors on the tranny.
