Default Odd power lock issue

So, when it gets under freezing temperature, the drivers side power lock decides to quit. The button will unlock the passenger side, and I have disassembled the whole door, checked for actuation and such, but when I get it in the shop, it warms up and decides to start working. I am wondering if the bulkhead connector is getting loose, but the lever broke into two pieces, and it’s near impossible to get the other side off without taking off the whole door.

I’ve lubricated the mechanisms, checked for pinched wires, fiddled with the accordion at the door/frame interface… I’m just at a loss at this point.

Ok, new development, it got cold today as night fell. So my locks went from working to not. I tend to use the keypad to lock my doors, and I held it just on a whim. Eventually the lock moved again, like it pushed through. Seems maybe the cold makes things shrink enough to hang up. So I already ordered a new Motorcraft lock motor and I'll install that when it gets in, then double check all rod adjustments in the lock mechanism. I need to change out the arm on my lock cylinder anyways.

A little more information for everyone here. I ended up buying a new lock actuator, and that fixed the problem, but when I took apart the old one I got confirmation that it was freezing. There was water inside the assembly.
