OD Button

A few weeks back I replaced the light bulb for the gear indicator in my console. I just noticed, the button for OD doesn't light up. Is it supposed to??

Yes when od is off it lights up

not in the 04-08 trucks....theres a light on the dash that lights up saying O/D off...OP no the button on the shifter doesnt light up

Exactly, its just white paint that rubs off like on the headlight ****. Indication is on the cluster
