Default OCS and Bladder?

I recently took my truck in for a sound system and they disconnected the Occupational Classification Sensor under passenger seat while trying to troubleshoot another issue that they caused. In the process, my airbag light came on my cluster and I’m told that when that light is on, the whole airbag system is disabled.

I took it to Ford for them to diagnose and try to reset the SRS system but they say that their system won’t let them reprogram because the Occupational Classification Sensor and Bladder that senses the weight, needs to be replaced.

However, Ford no longer makes the parts and I’m having a hard time finding interchangeable parts that I’m sure will fit.

If anyone has any advice on this issue or know of a trustworthy site to get the parts, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

Is there a problem with the ocs? Just plug it back in and unhook the battery and reconnect. There's no special tool needed for resetting the srs system on these once the first has been corrected.

They probably sat on the seat real hard on one spot and ruined the seat sensor
If you kneel on one of those new seats (with the smart airbags) you will possibly ruin the seat weight sensor
Occupational Classification Sensor? What? Now I am fat?
That's a good one Ford
