Default Occasional startup rattle

Hey everyone. Hopefully someone on here can help me out diagnosing this. I have an 06 f150 5.4 3v with about 138k on it. For the last thousand miles or so I've been getting an occasional startup rattle. It usually only happens if the truck sits on a cool overnight or when the truck is parked on an incline. It I start the truck up, it'll so it and then I'll turn the truck off then back on and it won't do it again. I've been reading that it could be bad chain tensioner seals but before I rip off the front cover what else should I check for? I was thinking I'll take out the vct solenoids and check thee teens for any debris and clean hem. What do y'all think?

There is a ford tsb about this sound and my vehicle does it as well. If its just on start up then your fine it is just the oil getting to the vct or so. Look under the sticky for 5.4 3v cam phaser replacement and it has it in there.

How do you measure the oil pressure?

Tell me if your sound mimics this. Mine only has about 58000 and is an 07. Motorcraft filter and oil since new. 5w-20.

Left it at the dealer 5 days and they couldn't duplicate the noise. Warranty expired September 5th.

I installed an electric gauge in a pod on the dash and put a tee where the OEM sender is and installed a. Sender on the tee. And left the OEM. Sender on other side of tee works like s charm watching my oil pressure as I'm driving...60psi when cold. Idle and 30 psi hot idle

Mine isn't always this loud either. Sometimes the noise is non existent. It is also hard to duplicate. It sat five days last week and made no noise on start up. Sometimes it will sit for four hours and rattle badly at start up.
