Sometimes after driving a short distance. Come back to start truck it won't start like it usually does. It will take 2 times with key ..When it does start I hear a quick valve ping . After that all OK. ... starts up fine the next time .. I did check my fdpm it's in good shape it is original from 05 .. any thoughts

Not sure what you mean by quick valve ping? Relay clicking do you mean?
Check the wire by your battery for corrosion. I don't have a pic handy but it's common for corroding. Literally, right next to the battery and has a connector on it. I'm not sure if this is what it is though based on what you're describing but worth a look!

How long are you waiting until you start the truck back up? Like the engine is still hot?
If so it could be a failing sensor

It will turn over not starting if I try again feels like it's not getting gas or flooding . When I does catch 2nd try right after the first ... there's a quick valve ping when it starts ... The cat converter on drivers side is bad and the injectors on same side have been replaced. No codes

Sounds like a vacuum valve is hanging and the motor turning over creates enough draw to get it to pull. Get someone to crank it, while you try and locate the ping with the hood up. Sounds like one of the sensors right at the plenum might have some **** on it or is going bad. My jeep did just about the same thing and after cleaning it, my mechanic told me, it will work fine for 2-3 weeks and it will die suddenly. And it did just that.
Try disconnecting the battery and turn your lights on so the micr batteries drain wait 30 minutes then turn lights off reconnect battery and see if resetting the computer corrects it. It actually sounds like if it actually help you if it would throw a code, your computer would know it needs to reset the issue then.
