I have a 2004 f-150 5.4L and trying to read problem codes, but won't link up properly it gets about 96% loaded up and then says no link! I have checked the Cigar lighter and OBD2 fuse (#41) and lighter and fuse are good but reader still won't connect what am i missing? Also having trouble with PATS but don't think i will affect the code reader!

 

replaced the PCM and fixed OBD2 no-link and also my PATS issue!
